The menu at Restaurant Columbus is a testament to traditional Mediterranean cuisine, highlighting hearty, generous portions that promise both comfort and satisfaction. Among the standout dishes is their famed paella—vibrantly seasoned, overflowing with fresh seafood and tender meats, and so abundant that guests often find themselves taking leftovers home. We were not sure about all the touristy restaurants by the Dunes but we gave this one a try and it turned out to be truly amazing. €33 for 2 DELICIOUS plates of paella (so HUGE that we have to take away) and a shared pot of Sangria (which was actually decent) - plus a pair of complimentary shots in the end. Service is undeniably great and friendly! Absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent place to stop for lunch with a sand dune view. The menu comes in many different languages including English. The prices were all fair and reasonable compared to surrounding places. The service was also friendly. There are toilets available for customers or 1 euro to use if you’re not.

We visit this restaurant for many years and it’s always and still our favorite one. The food is incredible and the staff is kinda like family. Everyone will find something in the menu. The prices are also great and haven’t been really changed for years. Just an example is the litre sangria for around 14€ or the lamb shoulder for 20€. And not to forget: It’s a big-boy-portion. If you want to have a great evening with an even greater dinner visit the Columbus!

Restaurant is at a great location next to the dunes. Extensive menu options for all tastes. The food was lovely. It was cooked perfectly and with a good portion size. I also got to try Canarian potatoes, which were lovely. The only downside is that it gets quite busy, so there is a little wait for service but worth it for the food.

Great service, fast and the portions are really generous. Highly recommended. The paella might take a bit longer than the other dishes, but it’s very generous, filling, and really full of seafood. We enjoyed it a lot.

I recently dined at Restaurant Columbus, and it was an absolute delight! The seafood pasta was outstanding—perfectly cooked with fresh, flavorful ingredients that truly captured the essence of the sea. The bruschetta was equally impressive, with crisp bread topped with a delicious blend of fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and excellent hospitality. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing dishes and top-notch service, I highly recommend Restaurant Columbus. I’ll definitely be back!
